ineedtherapy.org is a wellness and resource platform built by therapists for people exploring mental health support. We are not a clinical or medical provider.

What we collect

• Email address (for account access and communications)
• Display name (chosen by you — can be anonymous)
• Check-in responses (daily mood and one-word reflections during guided programs)
• Self-check scores (if you choose to save them to your account)
• Discussion posts (display name and message content you voluntarily submit)

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
• We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
• We do not use your reflections or check-in data for AI training.
• We do not monitor your reflections in real time. No one is reading them.

ineedtherapy.org is a wellness platform, not a healthcare provider. Nothing on this site constitutes therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. We are not covered by HIPAA. The programs, articles, self-checks, and tools provided here are for educational and personal wellness purposes only.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored securely via Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to essential platform operations only.

How to delete your account

You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@ineedtherapy.org. We will process deletion requests within 7 business days.

Cookies and tracking

We use minimal cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that identify you personally.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
